こちらの時計は英国製の腕時計で名高い《スミス》が手掛けた機種で、その中でも非常にレアな、エドモンド・ヒラリー卿が成し遂げたエベレスト人類初登頂を記念してリリースされた、いわばフラッグシップモデルです。

通常は19石の手巻きムーブメントを搭載するようですが、こちらは25石の自動巻きムーブメントが搭載された大変珍しい一本。このムーブメントは、 SMITHS IMPERIAL の刻印があり、当時のスミス最上級モデル「インペリアル」にも搭載されているもので、この機械が搭載されたエベレストを見かけることはほとんどない一本です。

2022年5月に、ビックベアーさんで、オーバーホールも実施しており、アンティークのコレクションとしてもっていましたが、断捨離中につき、手放すことと致しました。

コンディションは、動作良好です。 
 
日差については、気温・気圧・持つ方の姿勢等で変わります。また、アンティークですので、日差1～5分程度あるとお考えください。
