1951年にクララ・ウォードが発表したゴスペル曲から来ているタイトル『ハウ・アイ・ガット・オーヴァー』孤独に逸脱してしまった人生から、希望に向 かって旅立とう、というメッセージを反映し、強靭なるゲスト陣・・Phonte(Little Brother)、Blu(Blu & Exile)、John Legend( Again をリカヴァー)、そしてお馴染みのDice Rawなどを迎えてます。

力強いドラムとベースライン、ピアノのリフ一つにしても極めつけで、ソウルフルなヒップホップからダンスクラシック、艶やかなニューソウルなど、OKAY PLAYERの盟友エリカ・バドゥ「NEW AMERYKAH」を想わせる、一聴して 間違いのない 仕上がり 。
