誕生と同時にそのテープエコーの機能と共に、内蔵プリアンプの甘いサウンドでギタリストたちを魅了、すぐさまジミー・ペイジやエディ・ヴァン・ヘイレン、エリック・ジョンソンといった伝説のギタリストたちのレコーディング現場に導入されることになった EP-3 エコープレックス。その「秘伝のタレ」ともいえるプリアンプを自分のペダルボードに組み込める日がついにやってきました。愛され続けた EP-3 のプリアンプ特性を完璧に再現するため、FET から始まり音が出るまでの経路を全く同じに作り上げました。ゲインコントロールは +11dB までブースト可能で、ハイゲインにセットするとこだわりのクリッピング特性で独特の味が出るようチューニングされています。電源は 9V 電池で、その寿命のほぼすべてを通して安定した出力を確保できるよう設計されています。ノブは EP-3 のレプリカで、 LED 付きのトゥルーバイパス回路が採用されています。これさえあれば、もう大切なヴィンテージエフェクターを持ち歩く必要はありません。
