1940s〜 Leather Woven Shoes 

1940年代にサマーシーズン向けに開発されたレザーを編み込んで作られた革靴です。ベンチレーション機能を持たせ快適に過ごすことが出来るようにと販売されていたことが当時の資料からも確認が取れます。デザインは複数のパターンが存在することを確認しています。編み込みタイプが高級版、パンチングホールタイプが簡易版・廉価版であったと記憶しています。それらの中でも個人的に最も素晴らしいデザインと考えるタイプが本個体になります。

1910年代のWW1期や同年代である1940年代のWW2期のUSNサービスシューズは状態、サイズ問わず出てこない状況になっておりますが、本個体は大量に生産・供給されていた軍用のそれと比較して生産数自体が少なかったと思われますのでさらに見つからない印象です。

快適で見た目にも涼しさを表現しつつもサンダルなどよりもきちんとした印象が出せますので幅広いTPOに対応できるかと思います。

サイズは7E表記
状態はデッドストックの状態から一度だけ試し履きしました。ビブラム製ハーフラバー処理済でダメージのないほぼ未使用品です。
